John advises both domestic and international companies in all aspects of Competition & Anti-trust law. He frequently speaks at online seminars and other forums on a wide range of corporate and commercial topics, including Competition & Anti-trust, corporate governance and directors' duties.
Experience
John graduated with an Honours BCL law degree from University College Dublin in 1994 and was admitted as a solicitor in Ireland in 1997. He also has diplomas in European Law from the Universite des Sciences Sociales, Toulouse and the University of Amsterdam. John has been a consultant with the firm since 2014.

John also does in-person seminars that consider the complexities and pitfalls that can arise in of Competition & Anti-trust law. In recent seminars, he also discusses the latest contemporary trends and updates in company law and corporate governance.
Throughout the year, John will provide members of staff in Flynn O’Driscoll with between 15- 20 hours of CPD a year, which is over 25% of their total CPD for the year. He provides professional development on directorship matters, accountancy law, corporate and commercial law and updates to company law.
John is also a lecturer in the Law Society of Ireland. He provides CPD training to Chartered Accounts Ireland, MBL Seminars, among others. He has worked in a number of national and multinational organisations including Bord Gais Energy, Diageo plc and The Coca-Cola Company.
