Fiona joined Flynn O'Driscoll's aviation department in July 2024 having been admitted to the roll of solicitors in Ireland in April 2023. Prior to joining the firm she trained with Matheson LLP and qualified into their corporate department. Fiona completed rotations as a trainee solicitor in aviation, commercial real estate, private client, commercial litigation and corporate.
Fiona assists on advising clients on commercial, corporate and aviation matters.
Experience
In Fiona's role as solicitor on the aviation team, she advises in cross-border, asset financing and leasing, including drafting and negotiating leasing, finance and security documentation as well as advising on registrations, filings and general corporate governance.

- Project managed and successfully led to completion a complex redomiciliation of a large international company from Curacao to Ireland;
- Conducted a significant discovery project for a large international commercial arbitration;
- Advised high net worth clients on estate planning;
- Completed a secondment with Google’s commercial real estate team, assisting Google with their commercial leases worldwide;
- Assisted and advised Japanese investors, airlines and banks on all aspects of aircraft acquisition, sale, leasing and financing; and
- Completed an internship at the International Criminal Court in the Hague
