Laura Myles is the Head of Data Privacy and Intellectual Property at Flynn O’Driscoll LLP with 25 years’ experience in intellectual property and technology law and practice. She leads the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Law department.
Experience
Prior to joining Flynn O’Driscoll, Laura founded and for many years operated her own firm, TradeSecrets Limited, which later merged with Flynn O’Driscoll. Laura has extensive experience in advising clients in a wide range of intellectual property, commercial, technology, and data protection matters. Over the course of her career, she has also worked in-house for large multi-national corporations both in Ireland and the US. Laura advises on all aspects of data protection and privacy, including GDPR compliance projects and implementation from small to large scale, contract drafting, review and negotiation for data-driven companies (including both standard and complex contracts) as well as advising on personal data breaches, risk mitigation, and response plans.
