Flynn O’Driscoll and PKF O’Connor, Leddy & Holmes, Enterprise Ireland and Ulster Bank were very pleased with the success of the “Doing Business in the USA” seminar on Friday the 29th September 2017.

Des O’Shea, chairman of Ulster Bank and Flynn O’Driscoll, welcomed all in attendance before John Woodward of the Metro Atlanta Chamber shared his knowledge of the economic incentives in the US. Tycho Stahl of Arnall Golden Gregory LLP spoke about the best practices for US market entry and long-term success, followed by a presentation on tax planning for business entry into the US from Mike Whitacre of PKF Frazier & Deeter.

Conall O’Móráin, presenter of Today FM’s Sunday Business Show, then moderated an excellent discussion between CEO of Netwatch Systems, David Walsh and CIO of Sysnet Global Solutions, Patrick Condren which focused on their first-hand experience of setting up in the US.

Overall, the morning very interesting and provided brilliant information and resources for companies considering expanding into the US market.
