Flynn O’Driscoll is delighted to announce new senior appointments in its Corporate and Commercial team across both its Dublin and Galway offices. The appointments are with effect from 1st January 2022.
Diann Cannon is appointed to partner, while Deirdre Walsh and Cian Mannion are promoted to Associate level.Commenting on the appointments, Managing Partner James Duggan said:

Diann Cannon-Partner, Corporate and Commercial
Diann becomes a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team. Diann joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2012. Diann advises leading Irish and International clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial legal matters including mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring; private equity and venture capital investments; commercial contracts and corporate governance and compliance.Diann advises leading Irish and international clients, to include companies, private equity funds, angel investment groups and entrepreneurs, on a diverse range of corporate and commercial legal issues.
Deirdre Walsh-Associate, Corporate and Commercial
Deirdre has extensive experience advising both Irish and international clients on M&A and private equity transactions, limited partnerships, investment and shareholder arrangements, joint venture transactions and general corporate governance issues. Prior to joining Flynn O’Driscoll, Deirdre trained and worked as an Associate in the Corporate department of McCann FitzGerald in Dublin for over six years.
Cian Mannion-Associate, Corporate and Commercial
Cian becomes an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial team in Flynn O’Driscoll’s Galway office. Before joining Flynn O’Driscoll, Cian worked as a lawyer in New Zealand in the commercial department of a large New Zealand law firm and more recently in the corporate and banking departments of two of Ireland’s top ten law firms.Cian advises clients on a diverse range of corporate and commercial legal issues including mergers, acquisitions and corporate restructuring; private equity and venture capital investments; company formations; commercial contracts and corporate governance and compliance.Cian also has experience in secured and unsecured lending and has acted for both Irish and international financial institutions and borrowers.
