On Saturday 26 May 2012 the Calcutta Run was held to raise money for Goal’s orphanages in Calcutta and the Peter McVerry Trust’s projects in Dublin.
Almost 1,000 runners and walkers made their way around the 10km course from Blackhall Place to the Phoenix Park and back.
Participating from Flynn O’Driscoll were James Duggan, Declan Cunningham, Jonathan O’Beirne, Eimear Boyle and Peter Cronin, each of whom raised a significant amount of money and contributed to the €140,000 raised by the event.
