Sinéad graduated from the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2013 with an honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Science and Sociological & Political Studies (BA). Sinéad went on to complete a postgraduate Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB) within the National University of Ireland, Galway and graduated with first class honours in 2014. Throughout her studies, Sinéad worked in a general legal practice in Galway.

After graduating, Sinéad worked in the Courts Service as a Judicial Researcher and Assistant which involved providing legal research support and assistance to all members of the Judiciary. Sinéad’s work as a Judicial Researcher and Assistant exposed to her to a wide variety of legal areas and she has worked on a variety of High Court Lists including the High Court Commercial, Bankruptcy, Employment (Non-jury List), Asylum and Immigration, Family Law, Personal Injuries and Criminal Law Lists. Sinéad also provided daily legal research support to the District and Circuit Courts. Under the supervision of members of the judiciary, Sinéad completed legal research projects authoring Search Warrants in the District Court and Maintenance Orders in the Superior Courts.

From December 2016 to July 2019, Sinéad worked in our corporate and commercial departments working on corporate mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions, corporate restructurings and general shareholder matters.

Sinéad currently works in the Media Law & Litigation Department with Partner Kieran Kelly which encompasses defamation, media and privacy law matters.

Sinéad qualifies as a Solicitor into our Media Law Department in December 2019.
