Mathilde worked for three and a half years as a Senior Legal Counsel in a French Law Firm based in Paris in the Corporate Immigration Law and Global Mobility Department.

She has also completed several internships in different areas of law:

- Internship in the law firm "Ashurst LLP" in Brisbane Australia in the competition and anti trust law department
- Internship in the law firm “Dalmas Prevost" in Paris in immigration law
- Internship in the NGO “Humanium” as a Legal Coordinator of Europe & Caucasus from September 2015 to June 2016
- Internship in the NGO “Project Abroad” as Legal Intern from June to August 2013 in Cordoba Argentina
