Profile

Liam obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from NUI Galway, graduating with honours in 2010. He was subsequently awarded an LLM in 2011 before working as a legal researcher and tutor at NUIG’s School of Law.

Prior to commencing in Flynn O’Driscoll, Liam had worked for a number of years as a Judicial Assistant in the High Court of Ireland, assisting a number of judges across different court lists, as well as compiling research memos on a range of topics concerning personal injuries, chancery and commercial matters. This afforded Liam an invaluable insight into the inner workings of the court system, and very much piqued his burgeoning interest in litigation. Liam has extensive litigation experience having worked primary in the litigation department at Flynn O’Driscoll prior to attending on the PPC-1 Course in September 2017, assisting on a diverse range of matters from debt recovery to insurance disputes.

Liam is currently in the Corporate department at the firm and has attained invaluable experience working on a wide range of private equity transactions, corporate restructurings and commercial agreements.

Since joining the firm in January 2017 Liam has been involved in a number of corporate social responsibility initiatives supported by the firm, one of which includes regularly volunteering at St. Audeons National School’s reading club.
