John joined Flynn O’Driscoll in June 2017 as a pre-trainee and he successfully passed his FE1 examinations while working in the firm. John is currently completing his professional studies with the Law Society of Ireland.

Since joining the firm John has worked on the aviation team where he has been involved and advised on a number of large multi-jurisdictional leasing transactions. He also has experience of working on corporate and commercial transactions. Upon successful completion of the first part of his legal professional studies John has undertaken a seat in litigation. This involves working upon and advising on a number complex high value matters in both the High Court and Circuit Court including shareholders’ disputes, insurance coverage declinatures as well as professional negligence matters.

John graduated from University College Dublin with a Masters in Common Law. John had previously graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway in 2015 with an honours degree in Commerce (Accounting). John is currently completing his professional studies with the Law Society of Ireland.

John is currently a member of GAA Macra Na Feirme.

John is also a keen GAA footballer and has represented his county, Sligo, at senior inter county level. John also regularly attends St. Audeon’s National school where he volunteers with their reading club.
