Experian MarketIQ M&A Market Recognition
“Flynn O’Driscoll received accolades for its Q3 ranking at the top of the legal volume table for 2019 playing a part in 57 deals. Flynn O’Driscoll’s transactions included a sell side role on 888 Holdings Plc’s €18m acquisition of Dublin’s Dedsert (Ireland), a developer of mobile social gaming platforms, along with an €11m Series A funding round for HealthBeacon, a technology company developing smart tools for managing medication.”

Patrick Flynn, Chairman of Flynn O’Driscoll, shared various aviation leasing clients with AvCS and having worked with them over a 12 year period knew the calibre of the business and its personnel. In general discussions on business growth and succession, he had asked Niall and Frank whether they would consider a takeover or merger to grow and scale their business. Patrick at the time was a Board member of Enterprise Ireland and was very keen to encourage businesses in growth sectors like aviation, that had the ability to further scale, to look at doing so and a merger or acquisition was a good way of doing so
