Our experienced legal team is one of the few in Ireland that can provide multi-disciplinary legal advice in support of renewable energy projects in both Ireland and the UK having gained, in particular, significant experience of wind and solar projects.

We have experience of acting for all parties involved in successful projects including developers, banks, equity investors, contractors and suppliers. The support we provide spans the full range of legal disciplines from day-to-day real estate, planning, construction, commercial, corporate and employment issues, to specialist commercial litigation advice on complex and technical disputes.   •  The sale of the renewable energy business of Ervia (previously known as Bord  Gáis) to Brookfield Renewable (including 17 wind farms) for approximately   €700 million.
  •  Advising an Irish headquartered, independent global developer of renewable  energy.
  •  Advising an Irish SPV in relation to equity investment in a large-scale wind  farm in the Kalahari desert, Ghana.
  •  Advising a Spanish group on a joint venture agreement relating to a 10MW  solar project in England.
  •  Advising investors in connection with the tidal lagoon project in Swansea,  South Wales.
  •  A back-to-back purchase and sale of a solar SPV involving a well-known  international solar fund collectively holding £7 billion of renewable and  conventional energy projects.
