Liam Divilly

Trainee Solicitor
Profile

Liam obtained a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) from NUI Galway, graduating with honours in 2010.

He was subsequently awarded an LLM in 2011 before working as a legal researcher and tutor at NUIG’s School of Law.

Prior to commencing in Flynn O’Driscoll, Liam had worked for a number of years as a Judicial Assistant in the High Court of Ireland, assisting a number of judges across different court lists, as well as compiling research memos on a range of topics concerning personal injuries, chancery and commercial matters. This afforded Liam an invaluable insight into the inner workings of the court system, and very much piqued his burgeoning interest in litigation.

Having sat and obtained all 8 FE1 examinations, Liam now works primary in the litigation department at Flynn O’Driscoll, assisting on a diverse range of matters from debt recovery to insurance disputes, while he has also had exposure to both the corporate and aviation departments in the firm.

Liam will be attending on the PPC-1 Course in Blackhall from September 2017.
