Profile

Katie graduated in 2015 with an honors BCL law degree from Dublin City University and joined the Firm in September of 2015. Since joining, Katie has worked predominantly on the commercial team advising clients in the areas of company and commercial law including business structure and formation, investment schemes, company re-structuring, shareholder matters and commercial and corporate transactions.

Katie also has experience in employment advising and working on a variety of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including but not limited to: unfair, constructive and wrongful dismissals, discrimination, HR procedures and policies and employee/employer disputes before the Workplace Relations Commission. Katie has also been involved in employment matters relating to fixed term employment contracts, outsourcing and the possible implications that may arise for an employer in relation to a transfer of undertakings (TUPE). Katie is also experienced in drafting employment contracts, company employee handbooks and various employment policies for a vast range of sectors.

Katie is largely involved in the firm’s corporate social responsibility and regularly supports a wide range of projects and activities within the community including the Firm’s shared reading initiative at St. Audoens National School. Katie is currently studying to complete the Law Society Entrance Exams.
