Cían joined the firm as an intern in 2013 while in the final year of his bachelor degree in Business and Law in University College Dublin. Cían graduated with an honours BBL law degree from University College Dublin in 2014 and became a pre-trainee with the firm. In April 2016 Cían completed his Law Society entrance exams and was given a traineeship with the firm.

Since joining the firm Cían has had experience in litigation, commercial transactions, financing and corporate restructuring. Cían primarily works in the conveyancing department and has been involved in a number of large commercial property transactions, residential property developments, as well as the property side of large corporate restructurings and refinancing. Cían is also proficient in drafting and negotiating commercial property agreements, including agreements for lease, leases and licences. He also has experience in investment acquisitions and disposals involving residential, hotel and commercial properties.

Cían is an active participant in the Dublin start-up scene and regularly attends events in the office of the Dublin Commissioner for Startups. Cían takes an active interest in corporate social responsibility and regularly volunteers at St. Audeons National School’s reading club, among other initiatives which are supported by the firm. Cían will commence the Law Society professional practice course in September 2016.
